Why is the not the Faculty of Archeology of the AAU not involved in this kinds of research in their back yards?
If the AAU is not in position to be the center of state of the art archeology research place, the government must think setting up a new research institute in one the Afar or Harari kilil! That could be a place where scholars from all over the world and Africa would flock. If only then the priceless history and discovered items will remain and benefit Ethiopia!

Afar is full of humanoid fossils. No grabbing needing. Everything is on the surface. It is a big opportunity for Ethiopian archaeology students.
