[Breaking News] Neamin Zeleke was sacked as ESAT Managing Director over disagreement with Isaias Afeworki
Awramba Times (Addis Ababa) – Neamin Zeleke, Managing Director of the Ethiopian Satellite Television (ESAT), was forced out due to disagreement with the station’s grand Ayatollah, Isaias Afeworki.
According to confidential sources close to ESAT,the current second-in-command of Ginbot 7 has confronted the President in his recent visit to Eritrea.
In one of their meetings, after Molla Asgedom’s ‘defection’, with the President, Neamin directed his question just to Isaias “how serious you are to gennuinly assist Ethiopan rebel groups based in your soil”
Isaias felt ‘disrespected’ by his ‘orphans’ and responded to both Berhanu Nega and Neamin sarcastically.
Since then, the more Neamin thought about the president, the more panicked he felt. Eventually, He was forced to change his mind that he previously had to stay with his colleagues in Eritrea. And immediately decided to return back to the United State.
According to our source, the order has directly came from Isaias Afeworki to remove Neamin from ESAT.
Since its establishment, in 2010, Neamin was a strong supporter and Managing Director of ESAT.
