PM ,you dare point your finger at the royal family of Tigrai.

unless amassing wealth illegally and being rich overnight, baring lottery jackpot, are not ‘corruption’,all TPLF politicians, generals, cadres and family members should be behind bars.

      Ato G wordofa

      u said

my question is who would replace them OLF AND AG7 do u think Dr.birr is less corrupted

my second question is if u arrested all the government official who is going to run the country

this people are the founding father of the new democratic Ethiopia u have to give them at lease respect they did not run away to USA thinking Ethiopia is gone case they stay and fight for Ethiopia unlike u now u running your mouth where were u when it count

    • bb says:

Then your master OLF take the power. What a plan! Keep your wasteful dream day and night to come true and keep your racist towards the Tigrians people but no matter how much you hated this people you will never make them down. Remember hate/racism is sickness but at the end of the day it will hurt yourself nobody else.
      Thanks

here is my report about corruption

The Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) give a loan to textile company five years ago

mind u DBE give loan one billion but seeking to get back only 700 million that means they going to lose 300 million … now when they were exposed they increased the selling price to 900 million birr

the question is DBE got a good deal if they get back one billion birr after five years the answer is NO because

one billion birr with 10% compound interest worth more one million birr after 5 years worth additional 600 million that means today one billion birr worth 1.6 billion not one billion

that mean even DBE got one billion birr they r losing 600 million

now this is not the end of the story when u sale a company u have to set the price how much it would worth after ten years with 10% compound interest that would be 2.6 billion birr

that means one billion birr worth today 2.6 billion birr now u dont have to go to the company to figure this out

what is the point of bank giving loan only to collect their money without interest ? again corruption

the company that worth 2.6 billion would be sold for one billion or 900 million the buyer will sweeten the deal by giving DBE ceo sugar to close the deal this is how it work

so what is the solution… someone should stop DBE from rioting our industry they should be stopped THE textile industry founder must be returnned and take over their company and pay use one billion birr with interest

mind u if DBE took one billion birr they have to give it to other investors and face the same thing and close the company and collect our one billion birr where is going to end it is not better to give back to the original owner and make sure the company pay us with interest where is the rush

The federal police which is the organization of tplf thieves is investigating the other tplf thieves and the result of the investigation will be every one is innocent.

  4. Cheru says:

This is Just another wasteful bureaucracy a non independent body that would be designed for political witch hunt to those without TPLF connections. REAL STORY what I’ve witnessed on my own eyes in Beijing, China. In 2011, I was a participant of a science/engineering meeting at one of Beijing’s prestigious Legendale Hotel in the middle of Beijing. The company I work did not book me there because it cost so much money, but I was really surprised at a sight of four young Ethiopians who were enjoying themselves at the main bar, because of my high curiosity and my tendency to be just being noisy, I greeted and approached these young Ethiopians and they were happy a fellow Ethiopian and ask me to sit with them as they were a bit tipsy and they don’t really know me but told m to drink whatever I like….to make the story short I quickly learned they were children’s of high TPLF officials and one of them he told me who his father is a well known General….. I don’t want to reveal name here but it’s obvious the amount of money they spend in a luxurious hotel is not something any Ethiopian can afford……do you think the newly established Ethiopian federal bureau of investigation would pursue high ranking TPLF generals and politicians? That’s why I said it’s waste of money and political witch hunt tool.

    • ethoash says:

      dear Cheru

i want to ignore ur comment but it irritated me so much so i have to reply to u … for sure u must be over 77 years old and u working for western company and u were participating in cience/engineering meeting at one of Beijing’s prestigious Legendale Hotel …

now tell me in God name what this help Ethiopia u working for western company and u flying all over the place what this help mama Ethiopia ? nothing at all in fact ur a treason u sell out mama Ethiopia after she educated u for free u run away and u work for western country and u running ur mouth

Let even consider ur story is truth and let assumed those TPLF officials kids were in the same hotel that u were what proof do u have they staying in the same hotel or who is paying for the hotel sometime the Chinese government might pay for it to attract business those kids dealing business in billion for mama Ethiopia u want them to stay in motel 6

when u talk u r undermining the contribution of our General.. without our Genera there is no Ethiopia there is no Nile Dam there is no progress there no peace so those General should not be put down people like u who run away form Ethiopia and work for Western country and they have audacity to talk back after those kids invited u as one of their own… u r backstabber… should have ask them what they were doing why they were attending the meeting they would have told u instead talking about what they drinking…

they might be there to import the Chinese technology billion dollar worth of product then they deserved to stay in the same lux hotel in fact they should have paid 10 million dollar per one billion dollar deal they r transforming Ethiopia u talking about drinking by the way i dont like drinking that is not good for ur health but most Ethiopia they dont understand the effect of drinking so that is why they drinking drinking is not the sign of wealth in fact it is the sign of luck of knowledge… i feel sorry for them for drinking i will not be jealous about their drinking that is the last thing i would done

by the way if ur company doesnt allowed u to stay in the lux hotel i think it is time to come home and be part of the development next time u might stay in the same hotel

u say u wasted ur opportunity u would have sold yourself and got job from those kids by telling them ur skill and telling them what thing they should buy or not buy by helping them u should have earn my respect instead of your eye filled with blood

corruption is not rumor or here say it must be proven

about those kids living like royalty so what we removed our KING HIM because he imported birthday cake form french then the guy who removed him ur father Dergu imported ten million dollar black label whiskey for his ten year celebration

if AGE77 Leader Dr. Birr take power he lived like a king so to the next guys

You dare to put any Tigraen behind bars, they are the golden race
they are the only Ethiopia has
    all others nothing but garbage

  8. Ittu Aba Farda says:

    Ditto!!!

Corruption is one thing that has proven to be very hard to eradicate completely. In many countries it is rampant and seems to be out of control. Rent seeking is deeply embedded in our custom. I remember when I was growing up witnessing my father and uncle preparing valuable stuff to take with during one of those visits to the offices of the district’s governor. Call that a gift or whatever but it was an evidence of corruption. They did that even though they have 100 percent chance that their need would be fulfilled. In the prevailing custom then, you just do not walk into the governor’s office empty handed and expect your demand is met. According to the unwritten rule, that would not have been the right thing to do. Such custom is hundreds of years old. Now that is in the psyche. Corruption does exist everywhere and even in the Good Ole USA we hear and read stories of public officials who were caught dipping their sticky hands where they do not belong in malfeasance. But we see them get caught and send to jail to serve a long prison term. Now, coming back to the old country. First of all, there should be an apolitical and independent body in charge of fighting the alleged rampant corruption. You see. Corrupt individuals with power do not care about the fate of their innocent colleagues once they get the taste of unearned money or property. They give a hoot about tomorrow and what comes along with it. They have to amass it today. And many of them will kill for it. And when they lose they bring everyone close down with them. Sometimes they bring down the whole society with them or their passing too. It is not the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and even the 1990’s. It is the era of the information highway and news travel around in a flash. There is no hiding place for autocrats steeped with utter corruption. So all what I can say to those with power in the old country is this: You have been forewarned about the consequences of rampant corruption. It is a communicable cancer that will eat you up at the hearts to your demise. You better do something drastic about it and bus all those caught red-handed to the slammer. They should be humiliated for using the people’s trust and treasury to their personal advantage. And let’s hear about such legal actions. Something has to go down with faceless corrupt officials.

if that faceless corrupt officials were ur father would u say the same thing?

about ጉርሻ…. that is our tradition the white call it Tipping or Gratuity they even incorporated with their life and u can tip formally while in your company account … it is a customarily a client or customer to give tip to service worker… so what is the problem if Ethiopian adopted our culture of ጉርሻ formally the offical will do there job

  9. Fitsum Wondmu Dejene says:

The Ethiopian government had been offering jobs to the young but most of the educated youth prefer to beg diasporas for money on social media all day, rather than work hard in their profession . Amazingly the youth make enough money to support themselves just by having regular penpals within the diaspora so they abuse the discipline of their profession. The mostly single homesick diasporas who are same age with the youth back home likes the fact to have someone to talk to with fresh talk from the homeland so they don’t mind sending the money to their penpals in Ethiopia on a regular basis. Most of the penpals don’t like to communicate through regular mail. The problem arised when internet was cut off in Ethiopia ,the young now is forced to find other way to support themselves even to infect themselves with sickness so they get to come to their penpals . The government can use this opportunity to mobilize the young to work before all the opposition somehow infect themselves just to get out of the country… In the future the diaspora should stop sending money to people of working ages so they become productive citizen instead of terrorists that burn down factories .Even when internet comes back up. If you think about it sending money does n’t help the youth . The youth should work get experience and more education to be self sufficient. I say to those young diasporas that knowingly or unknowingly encourage corruption and nepotism by sending money to the burden-generation .The burden-generation of Ethiopia prefer to burn factories down and chat on the internet all day rather participate in the development process.
    I ask the diasporas
Why don’t you .speak truth to the .criminals every week (every day)?

Why don’t you join unmask the ugly faces of the international poverty pimps and parasi-ticks sucking the life blood from Ethiopia’s poor?

Why don’t you denud the loaners and donors who masquerade as the saviors of Ethiopia’s poor?

In the battle for the hearts and minds of the Ethiopian people, the only effective weapons are words, written and spoken. Words are so fearsome that they drive cowards to barricade themselves behind a wall of a state of emergency.

Criminals believes it can impose its rule indefinitely by speaking to the Ethiopian people in the chatter of its arsenal of AK-47s. “Four hostile newspapers are more to be feared than a thousand bayonets,” fretted Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor of France, as he summed up the power of the word and the independent press. “Ethiopia is the second worst jailer of journalists in Africa”, because the T-TPLF criminals against humanity are deathly afraid of the word.

Let’s not underestimate the power of the word. Wrote Edward Bulwer-Lytton, “True, This! —/ Beneath the rule of men entirely great/ The pen is mightier than the sword.”

Let us not use the mighty sword of the word against each other.

Would you lend to the Ethiopian people your mighty pens to write words about our dream of the New Ethiopia?

Let’s keep our eyes on the prize: The New Ethiopia!
