The ongoing demonstration in Oromya state isn’t in support of the released prominent opposition leaders neither Dr. Merara Gudiena, Bekele Gerba or other rioters from prison but those anarchists desire is social chaos and a return to ‘the laws of the jungle”.

Yeeeeeeeehaw!!!!!! All I can say is yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaw!!!!! Hey little tiger!!!! Daddy is coming home!!!!! Daddies are coming home!!!! What am I talking about? Daddies are home!!!! Hug your daddy now and don’t let it go!!!!

Even at this age, all I can say is yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaw!!!!!!! Now, valkyrie!!! Sing it hun!!!! Sing it sweetheart, sing it!!!! Now, let Obbo Andargachew come home to his kids too!!! All other political prisoners should be part of the release!!!

Then the healing should begin in earnest!!!! It is not the time to swagger daggers!!! It would not be the time to war-dance with ‘Now I can gouge your eyes out. It is my turn”!!! Now the transition of an all transparent dialogue should commence that will lead to a peaceful transfer of power. Then a genuine government of the people, for the people and by the people should travel to capital of our brothers and sisters of Eritrea and come up with a once and for ever solution to the issues that pitched one blood brother and sister against another. You had heard me saying before. If the peoples of two nations hammer out the silly issues between them, the sky is just the limit for what they can achieve. I swear to you, I will bet my last penny with you that what they can achieve in just a decade will dwarf what any so called ‘tiger’ economies had achieved in 3 or 4 decades. You are talking about the most resilient and resourceful peoples in both countries. This ‘Bademe’ thing is just silly that should not scuttle the road to the big picture. If the will is there it can be done with in a heartbeat with the Promised Land in the horizon. I hope and pray that Our Creator’s Blessings would be upon me to see that day before my last day on this good earth. For now, I am in a festive mood.

Watch for a vacuum!!!! That can be one of the worst situations that can pop out there just as it did in 1974. And this time, it can lead to a sudden slide into a bloody mayhem that was never seen. I hope and pray that level heads will be able to rein in this time around. Otherwise, there are going to be tens or probably hundreds of bloodthirsty Mengistus in every region along ethnic and religious lines.

The realities on the ground are right there for anyone who is willing to see and recognize. The country has reached to a watershed which cannot be cooked up and bastardized to benefit the few currently on top. This release of political prisoners is long time coming just because the entire world has been telling the ruler there to let them all goo free with strings attached. I said ‘the entire world’ because no one outside the well fed running rabid operatives of the regime had come out justifying the incarcerations of the prisoners. Day, weeks, months and years went by where the despots kept thumbing their noses at the entire world even though they kept being warned about the consequences. Then, came the storm in 2016. The response was mass killings and imprisonments. Then more storms kept going in 2017 and this time spreading like fires in the plains. The response was the same, more killings and mass incarcerations. But the storm at this time has proven itself to be unstoppable. The two pillars of the country, Oromos and Amharas, have come into solidarity with each other’s struggle and sacrifice and are been seen so committed to make their protest worth dying for. They are not going back to their homes empty handed after losing so many of their loved ones. You see. Human life is the most sacred and intricate creation of The Almighty. You just cannot chop it down like watercress from Whole Foods. But despots remain despots until they are thought a sore lesson. They are autocrats through and through that they don’t care what the rest of the world thinks about them. The jails are still full of political prisoners mostly Oromos and our noble neighbors Amharas. I just heard from the source that Obbo Bekele and others like him have given eye witness account that the jails in the capital and others nearby are filled with citizens from Gondar areas hundreds of miles away from their loved ones. That amounts to creating a new St-Laurent-du-Maroni located in Addis(Finfine). Even though I welcome the release of Obbo Bekele, Eskinder and their fellow political prisoners, I take it just as a chump change in light of tens of thousands still behind bars for political reasons. Let my people go!!!!

What I hear from the source is Addis(Finfine) is rampant with wild gossips. One such rumor blowing around is the Marxist demons such as those graduates of the Sebhat Nega school of demented philosophy is an Oromo or Amhara should never be given the premiership mantle. They consider that as a declaration of war on the front they stole away from the noble people of Tigray. These demons still remain die-hard bigots as they are dying. What they are wanting is the 20/20 hind sight to see those gallant Oromo and Amhara youths have started smelling blood and they ain’t gonna go back home empty handed. The aint gonna back down. Both are belching out for the top of their Amighty Blessed lungs:

    Well, I won’t back down
    No, I won’t back down
You can stand me up at the gates of hell
    But I won’t back down.
    ‘Not this time around!!!

    No, I’ll stand my ground
    Won’t be turned around
And I’ll keep this world from draggin’ me down
    Gonna stand my ground
    Well I know what’s right
    I got just one life
In a world that keeps on pushin’ me around
    But I’ll stand my ground.

    Get it bigots?
You can stand me up at the gates of hell
    But I won’t back down.

Without a democratic governance in my hand, I won’t back down!!! That is what the youth in Ambo, Arsi, Asboti, Mersa, Gondar, Gore, Jimma and through out Oromia and Amhara are saying. Not me, them, those gallant young people of Oromia and Amhara. Not me!!!! Don’t look at me you ‘golden race’ bigot!!! Them!!! You better deal with them complying to all democratic demands they have laid out on the table for you. And they ain’t gonna be deceived with spoons fulls but they want good governance by the shovel. You know what to do with your ‘developmental democracy’ spiel!!! Shove it!!!! I didn’t say that but they did, those gallant youth of Amhara and Oromia.

In the meantime, I would like to say a word or two to my dear brothers and sisters from Tigrai. You have been hoodwinked by the smart alecks and brutes who loot and pillage in your name. They have successfully robbed you off the organization you created for a noble cause. They have been telling you that Oromos like me don’t like you. Our harmonious Amhara neighbors don’t like you. These two ethnic groups are grinding their ax to do you another Rwanda. They had done every vice act on them just to create unwarranted hatred on you as a people. In your name, they have committed a crime against humanity by summarily executing prisoners of war after they marched into Addis(Finfine). You can ask one of your regretful sons Obbo Gebru Asrat about that. They killed more than 200 peaceful demonstrators in Addis(Finfine) right after the ‘loaded’ 2005 elections and have been telling you that they had to kill to protect you against another Rwanda. We Oromos and Amharas are principled and cultured people. We have friends who hail from your region who we call dear friends. We will lay down our lives for them and they will do the same for us. We have raised families together and we are still together. We had navigated through the concrete jungles of the west and had found success together. We Oromos and Amharas are compassionate and not bigots like the despots who robbed you off your front. They have enriched themselves beyond you and I can imagine. You must spit them out. Out to the wolves!!!! Show them justice!!! We Oromos and Amharas are not bigots!!! Never in our glorious history!!!

That is all I want to say!!!
