Buri waddesso, pray for meles , he is your friend and a better choice.
meles unashamedly lectures his TPLF politbureau how easy it is to destroy the amhara and hhe has been busy for 21 years doing just that.

what is the difference between you , buri Waddesso and your group and meles, when it comes to your amhara hate?

Ethiopia is faced with multiple problems and perhaps catastrophic events are awiting the long suffering people, yet you never stop flogging the amhara every time you have a chance. Your sole pupose of writing a piece always concludes by demonising the amhara. you do not even see the woyane fascists as a real enemy of the people of Ethiopia. what a shame.

I am a strong supporter of Meles and proud to say so as I know history will judge him fairly for managing to guide a very complex country like Ethiopia relatively peacefully to a strong country economically, socially and militarily with the exception of a tangible political change. You might think it is a good and opportune time for those who have good visions to build on what he has done. But I have a very skeptical view on the political culture of Ethiopians. We are known for vengeance, hate, negative outlook, backbiting and bad at team work.
I hope I am wrong but we are now going to see the bad side of our culture get exposed. And what Meles rightly or wrongly tried to prevent by strongly clamping down on dissent. This is going to be the time if his theory on how people that are trapped in perpetual poverty should be managed is correct or not. I hope he will be proven wrong, because if he is proven right, we are going to see a country hopelessly divided and not able to focus on fighting against the great enemy which is poverty.
May God bless the poor people of Ethiopia!

There is no worst enemy for the ethiopian people than the fascist ethnicist woyane junta led by their ring leader zenawi.

the woyane practised ethno-fascism practised with a vengeance, looting, murdering, harassing and jailing people at will.

The hallucinated zenawi sentenced the journalists whom he has sentenCed to death in a previous verdit , to life sentence in the recent kangaroo court drama.

JO _ Can’t you see that you people are led by a mad fascist who has lost his memory. He can’t remember what he has done yesterday! truly he is dying if he is not already dead.

  4. Melkam says:

This is taken from the Holy Bible in the book of Ezekiel 33:1-6! Read it
1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, 3 and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, 4 then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head. 5 Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’

    Alli,

The writer did not spare the TPLF from what it is due. Your sensitivity towards the Amhara is understandable, but it does not make his point mute. We know for sure that Getachew Haile, Mesfin W/Mariam, Imiru Zelleke…etc are counting for the days of the return to the old order. They still fail to understand the changed land beneath their feet. These are supposed to be wise men, but they are acting like naughty children. The situation demands careful approach in order to create an atmosphere of reconciliation with meaningful results of compromise. But we are not seeying that and the author is right in predicting a rough ride. It is sad that we never learn from past mistakes. This is 1991 all over again. But this time it may be different.

  6. Abera M. says:

Buri Waddesso looks like the other face of Meles. The analysis is based on fictious beliefs without any quote of factual documents. The problem we have in Ethiopia is everyone tries to be a history professor and tries to write history to project his/her own agenda.
Where and when do the Ethiopian people or as you mentioned the Amharas said “one nation under god”? Are you confusing this with the US constitution?
Why do you tell us your wishes as a fact?
We Ethiopians need the rule of law and democracy, we can develop the country by working together and respect each other, but people like this “writer” should refrain from mud slinging and stick to the proven or documented historical facts only.

      Abera,

” from mud slinging and stick to the proven or documented historical facts only”

Who wrote those “proven documented historical facts”.

I am sure you are aware of the adage that “History is written by victors” in the way they see it fit their way?

  7. awwol says:

    mamo,
The individuals mentioned in your comment are Ethiopians and are entitled to their views.
It is unfortunate that TPLF have implanted in people’s minds to look people and their ideas in terms of their ethnic /tribal origin. Everything is reduced to ethnicity of the person, not to the ideas he/she has.

the assertion that the amhara are ‘waiting to come back’ is a typical propaganda of the fascist ethnicist TPLF thugs and their cadres to continue with their mass murder of the amhara.

The continued genocide , eviction and looting on the amhara that the TPLF has been carrying out with a vengeance for the last 21 years is a strategy of TPLF and their cadres to make sure the amhara ‘do not come back’

waddesso is simply repeating the TPLF propaganda against the amhara when he said ‘one nation, one relegion’ is the aim of the amhara. Even, the lie factory and murderer TPLf mafia know that this is a lie.
