Aleka Tekle! Finally, someone spoke up!!! Thank you Aleka! I personally share your concern, and I also agree to a greater extent about your comments on the opposition leaders unpreparedness to fill the vacuum of power. The interview we heard on ESAT is an indication of that or lack of preparedness on a speech…I don’t know. The young politician Juhar Mohamed, however, was super in his political analysis (in my opinion).

      Aleka,
Thanks for your courage to speak out about the so called leaders & your honesty. But, I think, you are too late to know your leaders.

      Sorry for you Aleka

  2. abu says:

I very little agree with Mr Aleka. Yes, we need preparedness and penetrative visions. But I don’t expect to hear all strategies on this public interview. If Aleka is eager to hear strategic plans on how the leadership is functioning, you should be very “yewah” and layman for politics. Finally, I didn’t like the way you have been pointing at Dr Brehanu personally….like calling him “debato…” This may indicate you have personal problem with the guy and your comments are motivated therefrom. Now is time not to hear everyone’s personal “eroro” rather we should strengthen our unity towards freedom, unless we have a hidden objective. God bless Ethiopia

    Hey Tekel
    Ye Amhara woswasa
I would rather die than seeing Amahara leading the country ..Tigreans be sint Taemachew …right now you guys are not fighting to the country , rather to bring the Amhara on power ..Never Expect Dude!Dr.Birhanu , why you hate?because I know there is a huge fear on all over Amhara’s that he would come to the power …..Le hager bitasibu endezih atasibum neber ..by the way do you guys know that , you are more racist than the woyane itself.yOU REALLY ARE.i HAVE TESTED MOST.

  4. Kostaraw Chista says:

    Aleka Tekle yizoh yihid
    1. I liked your points.
    2. The average height of Ethiopian leaders is same as yours.
    3. Ethiopian leaders do not listen or use evidences

So, why do not you lead us?

  5. esat says:

Politicians or leaders of any organization should act and behave as such. I am an amirer of Dr. Berhanu as an intellectual. However, I have to see his leadership skills.Ethiopian politicians should learn to take the advice of professional media and public consultants. They need to be coached how to present themselves to the public. Dr. Berhanu did a very bad job on the last interview on ESAT. As he himself said many times, today the public needs some to give directions in bits and bytes. Not an intellectual political analysis.
Aleka Tekle, it is time for you and your associates to open a public relation firm and coach Ethiopian or African Law makers and politicians. There is a need of Media and Image Consultants in the political arena.
Most Ethiopian intellectuals think they know everything once they get the title. Dr.
So….It is time to send to a refresher course our Politicians.

    • Sebawinet says:

Ok let us say or agree that Esat is owned by Ginbot 7. What difference does it make? Let us say it is not independent. Isn’t it serving the Ethiopian people as alternate source of news/information? We are not at a point where we can pick and choose from many alternative media, we should be supporting the few we have now in order to help the struggle to bring down the tyrant rule and replace it with a better one. Then, only then, we can be picky on media when we have many alternatives to choose from who are allowed to write and tell freely. Untill then let us not criticize and scrutinize the hard working journalists and the limited media. They are the most important forces in the fight with Meles and his ethino-dictatorial rule.

      • humanity says:

        Sebawinet:

you should have paid enough attention to what አጭቤው said. You commented by saying “Let us say it is not independent.” and then you added “Isn’t it serving the Ethiopian people as alternate source of news/information? ” For me these two statements are self contradictory. If G7 is not independent then it is primarily serving “not the Ethiopian people” but the group’s interest that it is representing. By doing so it (esat) cannot be voice of the voiceless but voice of G7. The other thing is if it (esat) appears to be “serving Ethiopians” it is just because that “service” is in line with the objectives of G7. We need to clean our house before pointing fingers at walta, aiga, . . . they are the worst but we can be the best not just better than them (walta and aiga).

        • humanity says:

          Sebawinet: (CORRECTED ONE)

you should have paid enough attention to what አጭቤው said. You commented by saying “Let us say it is not independent.” and then you added “Isn’t it serving the Ethiopian people as alternate source of news/information? ” For me these two statements are self contradictory. If ESAT is not independent then it is primarily serving “not the Ethiopian people” but the group’s interest that it is representing which is G7. By doing so it (esat) cannot be voice of the voiceless but the voice of G7. The other thing is if it (esat) appears to be “serving Ethiopians” it is just because that “service” is in line with the objectives of G7. Besides, your way argument by assuming esat to be that of G7’s raises so many questions – transparency, accountability, . . . let me ask you this – what happened to the board that was set when esat was established?

We need to clean our house first before pointing fingers at walta, aiga, . . . they are the worst but we can be the best not just better than them (walta and aiga).

  7. dender kc says:

i am not sure the year or day and time but i read an article by this stupid Tekele (tenkole) suggesting that the way best to remove woyane is through Eritrea. He was saying that instead of hating Eritreans as Ethiopian enemies we should embrace them and use them as friends to remove woyane.
Guys imagine these can happen in the history of Meles and Isayas leadership. What a foolish this guy was and what a stupid narrow minded he is to tell us such a stupid notion of idiots.
I remember his article was in general against Dr. Birhanu the most loved one in the Ethiopian politics so far as Birtukan. Tekle is always opposing Dr. Brihanu but he take part in meeting with him after that too. I don’t know why Dr. is aware of this or they are just kidding on us showing beneath manner of their personal relationship. I dont that because Dr. Birhanu passed through a lot more life schools than Tekele( Woswasaw) i like the title he got!lol
So why he is working on ESAT? I remember last that time he was advertising a restourant in Canada and at the same time reporting about a meeting in Canada Ottawa i guss. ( i called ESAT and comment it then) I don’t why he can give his opinion to Dr. Brihanu personally rather than posting it and showed us his personal Dedebnet ? If he say he knows better than Dr. Birhanu just talk to Dr. let him know the mistake. Or tell him how to do it before it is aired. Of course Dr. is not that much less than this guy to take advice from , but it is ok to accept comments for good if it’s worthy.
Why you wrote such divisive gossip at this critical time while we all are thinking a different better day for all the millions out there? why? who is going to benefit from this ? You? ESAT? Dr.? WE readers? Millions outhere? Woyane? tell me?

Any ordinary person can answer this you must have some black background like Tesfaye Gebreabe( the colorless snake)

    TO

    Dr. Birhanu
We love you Dr. the journey you traveled for life is in blueprint in our mind. We know how much you scarified in the name of freedom! We value every movement you did. You are our national treasure. And we need you for higher purpose. Don’t be worried for a second to know if you are in our blood and bone. Yes you are!
Your patience and selflessness is what your millions out there are waiting to see. We know that you are politician by demand not by want! Therefore we help you to be a our leader for freedom by assent.

    ESAT

Woyane will send $$$$$ to buy everything to work for them. Therefore writer or speaker or journalist or one time opponent person can be bought like a candy in a store and be used for the intended purpose. Don’t trust all of them you bring to the public. Especially in this critical time divisive notions are more killers than the open enemy. Please filter them first.

Don’t be discouraged by any derogatory sentences you got even from families. History is ready to be re-written by those genuines. We don’t know them yet!(like Abebe who is the timely hero)
    TO
    Messay Kebede

Great job. You just changed the aroma of news in ESAT. Be open for corrective comments to. Don’t bring Tesfaye Gebreabe AND this Tekle (woswasaw) ever for voice!

Abebe Gelew and Sisay your open view from other long political histories and facts will help not only to shape the news works but also the future leaders and politics in general. Read Read Read a lot about history and world facts. Be outside the box and think outside the box! shape our future leaders , change the people mentality talking worthful world errors and rights of history. Broad the people’s mind and leaders too. See things in their reverse side always so that you will have a room for inclusivity.

    thanks

    • Addisu says:

Dender Kc and other TPLF cadres,

You tried to look as a genuine opposition by writing some truth here, but you are using a divide and rule game here. Tekle just gave his comments, but you are trying to manipulate and magnify it to your likes. The only truth you spoke was about the untimely criticism of Tekle to Dr. Berhanu in this trying time. You put is this way, “I don’t why he can give his opinion to Dr. Brihanu personally rather than posting it and showed us his personal Dedebnet ? If he say he knows better than Dr. Birhanu just talk to Dr. let him know the mistake. Or tell him how to do it before it is aired.” I agree with you in this regard. If we are genuine in our struggle against the narrow minded aparthaied TPLF guntas, we should talk to each other and advice each other before criticizing each other on the net. Our division only serves the TPLF, that is what they have been doing for the last 21 years.

It is time to tell the TPLF guntas enough is enough, instead of wasting our time criticizing each other on the net. Ethiopians need leadership, a combined leadership, not a single mind leadership. We need to help and support each other in order to achieve what we want.

Working with Eritreans, Somalis, or any anti TPLF tags is to the advantage of the opposition, but this scares to death the TPLF tags and try to look it as a sin to work with Eritreans.

    Selam Dender,
Please calm down ! You even couldn’t deliver your thought properly…. Just full of insults . You better concentrate on the matter and say something useful.
In regards to Aleka, I think he knows Dr.Berhanu very well. Dr. Berhanu is the best opposition leader we got at this time, but it doesn’t mean that it would be wrong if someone like Aleka comments on his interview.
It is Dr.Berhanu’s choice to do what ever he wants from the comments.

  9. Dender Kc says:

    Thanks Raza
I know I was mad and even not edit it before I say send. I was a little slacked by the approach he was telling us about his comments. Sorry for being rude like him.
I know I have to think better than him. But I believe such ideas should be allowed to grow unless they are proactive. I found them reactive.
Let us be optimistic rather than pianistic. Things will get better if we see the bright first. If pul each other down we will never see the top of the mounts. No one is born errorless. We all make mistakes but we do corrections too. That is we are human. But if we only see negatives only we can’t go anywhere.

We need to think different this time. We had a lot more wounds to heal. Therefore instead of adding salt on it let’s medicate it by the right prescription.
    Thanks
Again sorry for just insulting. I think I found him always -ve

first thing first Happy Birthday Mamush. you always like tell as How yang you are, Which is stupid. secund things who is our leader? they need be choose by people. you call yours selves journalist, lawyer and Actives which is you not. why we listening to you? you need growing up before ask as listening you (mentally) am gland i don’t see and listen you on ESAT. you thought is yours not others. those people you call them “Merewach” who pick them as leaders you or themselves? don’t you thing people need have voice?

  11. tani says:

Aleka Tekele are yous till in politics? I know you are a very stupid personality. You knew what you did in the 2001 AAU students, you deserted all your friends after that blood-shed. We knew how many students you lefet in Kenya deserts. Now you are just acting. You cant be part of opposition. You are a person needing benefit, you would have worked with TPLF should they have given you any money.

It is just for your shame, you came canada and you think you benefited, as students we came America and did our masters and now working and strugling TPLF. You are a stupid selfish personality you never belong to any opposition at any cost you are a lier and defector.

  12. Abi says:

I am very suprised to see your comments about Dr. Birhanu Nega. The first thing you mentioned about Muslim discontent and Melese deteriorating health and you left the analysis to the media and others. You authomatically point your finger to Dr. Birhanu Nega. You did this one because you are politically incompetent to generate anysis out of circumstances, second what surprises me most is that you were a leader in 2001 AAU students movement against the TPLF juntas. What you did is just simple you used your position to escape to canada and you assumed that is the best thing you can achieved. But Dr. Birhanu Nega is an intelactual geniuse who made a vibrant discussion in the 2005 election and made Melese a rat to call oppositions as Genociders. He is a capable outstanding personality that can demonstrate even more given the chance.

Let me tell you one thing, Ethiopia is a strong militarizes country in the horn Africa, the military is just controlled by one ethnic group Tigrea. Do you think it is easy to penetrate? However Ginbot 7 did that and few of its cooperaters are in jail. Now the truth is this it is a shame to see you back in politics to talk, you are a simple ordinary vulgar. You can have no place in the opposition participation in the political process of Ethiopia, it is because you made the bloods of AAU students for your way to Canada.

  13. Dave says:

Great Tekle for taking the initiative and crticising the opposition leaders. My questions for our brave YENETA TEKLE are the following:
1)Who is the leader of Ginbot 7? Tamagne Beyene or Birhanu Nega?
    2) How do you see the standard of ESAT?
    3) You appreciated Sisay but is he really different from the other journalist?

Yenita Tekle, I believe you are the only brave person in the group so that I hope you will answer my questions.

  14. tat says:
