    We Ethiopians have been occupying a land in the world without THINKERS. How?

    When they stay in power with fake elections, we do not ask why;
    when they jail our democratic politicians,we do not ask why;
    When they jail and dismiss our journalists;we do not ask why;
    when they sell our land to foreiners, we do not ask why;
    when we become land locked, we do not ask why;
    when our fate is being jailed, tortured and migration,;we do not ask why?
    when we are in hunger, we do not ask why;
    when they change the true bishops by the fake, we do not ask why;
    when they control all the available economic resources, we do not ask why;

    the list goes on…

    What was the tactic TPLF used to happen this? TPLF dominated Military, divide and rule, capitalizing opportunistic people,etc.

    “We fought for Eritrean independence from the colonial rule of Ethiopia. Even now, if Eritrea is attacked, TPLF would jump into Eritrea, join the Eritrean people and engage the enemy.” – Sebhat Nega on Radio Woyane (May 28, 2007

    TPLF has since its inception been controlled by mercenary elements that fought against Ethiopia as their enemy. The group that wiped out so many lives and terrorized Tigrians into slavery and servitude, is still in power. If Ethiopia is turned into a failed, landlocked state, it is with a purpose. Read details from the historical facts presented by Asgede G. Selassie, author of Gahdi 1 and Gahdi 2. A survivor of the pogrom, Asgede was one of the 11 rebels who founded TPLF.

    What I heard from reliable sources about Melies whereabouts is that he has developed a phobia to public appearance after Abebe Gelaw humiliated him in public and currently he is having an intensive counseling, he is seeing the best psychiatrists. It might take a while to cure his phobia and for him to appear in public without having a further panic attack.

    God bless Abebe Gelaw the the world in general and the Ethiopian parlama and the Ethiopian people in particular are having a break from hearing endless lies and fabrications.

    • LiliEthio says:

      But, Abebe Gelaw’s friend and family members said, that day (the day he was acting like SEKAREM, and was pushed out with full of shame from the place) was drunk a lot and missed his dipracision medication?????? I belive NO one can be humiliated or ahamed by YESEW GEMASHE Like ABEBE…. Negativitieeeeeeeeeeeee?

      GOD BLESS MELESE AND THE HONEST ETHIOPIAN PEOPLE (Those who apricate/d Melses GOOD work.

    I found the article an interesting description of well- done observation on what is happening since the absence of Ato Meles Zenawi from his national official duties and other multi-national events. Although the scenarios reflected in the article seem very commonly understandable , they make much more sense when they are presented in such a way that genuinely concerned readers would understand, and develop them through a more refined and critical discussion. I hope when things become relatively clear , the scenarios which right now look like so confusing will become more managable and predictable. I hope concerned intellectuals and all other educated Ethiopians will continue to follow up things very closely each and every day, and help the Ethiopian people to change the great challenges to great opportunites .

    Yes, there is no doubt that opposition forces have to take their efforts to a great step forward through meaningful and effective coordination and cooperation . I strongly believe that it is equally necessary to stress that all genuinely concerned educated individuals such as Professor Messay Kebede need to go beyond making analysis and explanations if the opposition parties should change things for the better. I sincerely argue that they ( intellectuals-educated) Ethiopians (by citizenship or origin) need to play their meaningful parts by engaging themselves in the process of gathering ,organizing and analyzing strategic and feasible studies ,and puting a positive/constructive pressure on the opposition political groups to move forward . I do not think the culture of our intellectualism which is unfortunately dominated by critisizing from outside will make meaningful difference. So, let’s take our theoritical anlyses which is of course very important a step ahead by enagaging ourselves in the various practical aspects of political arena and challenging the opposition groups in a construactive fasion!!

    As far as the idea of taking the conflict of interset within TPLF/EPRDF because of power struggle as a part of scenarios is concerned, I want to say that although it is true this type of political tag of war is inevitable due to the abnsence of Ato Meles ,I want to say that it needs a very cautious and more concrete ( from credible insiders ) information . It should not be neglected that the inner circle of the ruling group can use all kinds of misinformation and disinformation so that people will overestimate the “disintegration” within the ruling party as one of the major fators for the fall of the regime as the result of the absence of its mastermind.Ato Meles .

    With regard to the role of the Western powers , I do believe that we should be in any illusion that unless they see a very clear and determined signal of popular uprisings for a democrtatic transitional political environment, they will help the ruling circle to come forward with” their new bad guy ” and the dirty political game will survive. I wish it could be otherwise! Unfortunately, the relationship between African dictators and the Western powers has never been for the genuine prevalence of democrtatic and fundamental human rights. It is only and only the balance of power is challenged by a very irreversible popular purising that things change for the betterment of the people. That is the reality.

  6. Tenesa says:

    Why wait until the government provide information about Meles. The total news blackout about Meles condition could continue for months. Instead why don’t the opposition’s party and their supporter do what Nigerians did in 2010? When President Umaru Yar’Adua admitted to Saudi hospital the news was kept silence for seven weeks, but because of the opposition rallied in the capital demanding answers they brought vice-president Goodluck Jonathan in as acting president. All website talks about there are a power vacuum if so what are the oppositions doing.

  7. DEF says:

    Ethiopia is not Naigeria. If you make public demonstration Agazi army will kill everybody. Let alone public demonstration when muslims try to discuss their problem inside mosque Agazi stormed the mosque and arest them.
