Dear Dr. Walle: there is no “neutral” ground when issues are so urgent and muddled.

I am afraid you did not seem to clearly understand the content of the article. The writer analyzed the fuitility of the peace medation in light of Wayane’s control of the Synod at home. So that the struggle against Wayane can be intensified, the division among the Ethiopian churches in the Diaspora must end,and this can be done only by having all these churches under one entity. What entity would be better than the Synod in Exile for this purpose? The writer’s argument has nothing to do with regionalism or provincialism.Where did you get that idea in the paper unless you failed to comprehend both the language and conceptual basis of the whole article?

With all due respect, it is unfair to criticize the writer just because you failed to grasp the point of view that the writer attempted to share with his readers.
