I have read the following article on your website from a certain Yimer Yimam, who claimed to be New York. It would have been good if this person attach his contact e-mail address so that people would give him personally their feedback on what he wrote. I think this mostly an article by the owner of ECADF or one of the admins.

I have been following closely the ever increasing attack against Ato Dawit Kebede by some corner of Diaspora radicals, spearheaded by G7ites and surely channeled mainly through ECADF. I have warned Ato Dawit the very first time he launched his website that he may get fire unless he abide to the modus operandi of the radical Diaspora.
Well as I warned, the fire has started. The good news is Ato Dawit is striking back. I thought he would back down and decide to be silent; however as he said himself he chose not to be “slave” and continue to serve Ethiopians as a true independent reporter. “I report , you decide “ he is saying. I applaud him for that.
As to ECADF, the fact you are going after Dawit, is a clear indication of your medieval and bankrupt politics. Face the truth you are loosing …Radicalism, intolerance and hate are losing.
You have made a big and serious mistake in going after Ato Dawit who served his country and people honorably with great commitment and sacrifice. When you guys were talking day and night in pal talk, like sekarams and fools, Ato Dawit was boldly challenging the regime from within Ethiopia. Ethiomedia, EMF, Addis Voice of Abebe Gelaw , Abugida and many major websites were getting their sources from Awramba Times. Awramba were freely made available to the Diaspora. YOU WERE READING AWRAMBA to your readers in your room.
Now because he happened to disagree with you; because he happened to interview Guesh, because he happened to interview Yared Tibebe (who was once the darling of your room) , how dare do you call him a “weyane” . This is a disgrace. ECADF/G7 …are nothing but illustrations of what’s goes wrong with Ethiopian politics. You are reflecting the dark side of the oppositions.
You talked about Wubeshet Taye, an Oromo. By the way Wubeshet Taye is not currently in prison. Awramba Times webistes had posted critical editorials and comments on the way Wubeshet was released. You may go back and read the archives. Please before rushinhg to judgement, be matured and read materials. On top of that, while Ato Dawit Kebede was in Ethiopia, and until the newspaper was closed , Awaramba Times continued to pay full salary to Wubushet’s family. The paper continued to make strong cases against his release. Many of his colleagues, including Wubeshet, Abe Tokichaw and others had nothing to say about him but good things.
I for one disagreed and argued with him sometimes. When I write this it does not mean I am against or for what he is saying. I am not telling you also that you cannot criticize him. However, the attacks that I am seeing against him by lunatics like you, that has nothing to do with issues and ideas, is disgusting me.
Why bring race ? Why try to create wedges between tigryans and others ? Why start talking about interhamwe ? why such divisive and poisonous politics ? Why judge people by the color of our skin or our gene instead of our character ?

I could be wrong but I never heard or ready anything from G7 regarding Dawit Kebede or Awramba Times. I do not think Girma Kassa is write in OFFICIALLY accusing G7 with this issue. I can understand his opinion towards ECADF but including G7 is totally unwarranted. Oke he might have other issues with G7 unrelated to this specific issue but it is not right to bring it here. This is my opinion.

Without exageration to cope with ahmara media one must give up his/her legitimate opinion if wants to welcome by them, but for independent opinions it is unacceptable and why to do so when we are fightind against dicatator for liberty and freedom again to serve the chauvinist idologies?.
